I need help quickly. I was playing around with the template builder and I made a sample template for my product archives pages. Then, I decided I didn’t like it and I moved it to the trash and deleted it.
HOWEVER, it still displays for all guests and visitors on the site. (It does not appear for logged in users). And it is a real mess.
Can someone please tell me how I can fix this problem?
Thank you,
January 4, 2024 at 8:40 am #4000Hello, @sferios,
Thank you for the explanation of your issue.
1- It looks like you simply deleted the block but you didn’t remove the block condition. Please navigate to the Dashboard >> Porto >> Template Builder >> then try to restore the block from the trash after that simply edit the block and remove the condition. Check this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/vcXFQBSh and https://postimg.cc/5XTxVy6G then check back to your issue by clearing the browser cache.
2-If the issue still exists on the site then simply share your site wp-admin URL and access under the private content area of this topic after taking a complete backup of your site, I will further investigate and let you know.

PThemes Team.January 4, 2024 at 2:23 pm #4018Thank you for the reply. A few comments…
1. When moving the block to the trash didn’t work, I clicked the “delete permanently” button to see if that would work. And it didn’t. So there is no way I can now restore the block to remove the conditions.
2. Why would the conditions not be included with the block code and hence be deleted along with the block? This seems like an error in the plugin. If someone wants to delete the block they created, obviously they want the conditions associated with that block deleted as well.
3. Why would the block, after being deleted (but perhaps not also the conditions), only render for visitors and not logged-in users?
4. And here’s the biggest mystery. After about two hours, it suddenly resolved by itself. The block is no longer rendering for anyone. So all is good now. I am not using any caching system. And when the problem was happening for those two hours, it happened with every new browser I tried.
5. While ultimately the problem resolved itself, it makes me afraid of using the Product Archive Builder again. Unless I can understand why this happened (so I can prevent it from happening in the future) I am going to steer clear of that feature.
January 4, 2024 at 2:50 pm #4021Hello, @sferios,
1- I see, You delete the block from the trash as well.
2- I am afraid to say that if the block is deleted permanently then the condition will not work as well as on your site now.
But if the block is in the trash then the condition still works It is built like this in the theme and you cannot change it from the theme settings.
3- No it is not. Once the block is deleted permanently the condition will also removed.
4- The changes appear after 2 hours because of the server CDN. It looks like that your server uses the CDN and the CDN takes time to show the changes on the site. You can simply ask your service provider to disable the CDN until your site is in development mode.
