Templates Builder
Getting Started
WPBakery, Elementor free version, and Visual Composer free version are just page builders. This means that you can design only the content area of your page with them. Porto 6.0 adds templates builder which enables you to build header, footer, block, single product, shop, etc as well as page using WPBakery, Elementor and Visual Composer. This helps you build your whole website by only drag and drop elements without any programming skills.
How to use Porto Template Builders
To get to the Templates Builders section, please go to Porto -> Templates Builder. There are block, header, footer, product and shop builders. After you create header, footer, product and shop builders, you need to set display condition. You can display blocks using Porto Block element, block display options(Theme Options or Meta box) or shortcode.
1. Block Builder
What can you do with Porto Block Builder?
- You can build any part of your page.
- You can build various kinds of sidebar sections ( Shop Sidebar, Blog Sidebar, Product Sidebar... )
- You can build megamenu.
- And So on…
How to build your part of certain page with block builder?
Step 1. Go to
Porto > Templates Builder
.
Step 2. Click ‘Add New’ button on top of page.
Step 3. In New Porto Builder Modal, select Block Builder in “Builder Type” field. And give your block’s name in “Builder Name” field.
Step 4. The next step is to build your part with WPBakery, Elementor, Visual Composer or Gutenberg.
2. Header Builder, Footer Builder

3. Single Product Builder and Shop Builder

What can you do with Porto Type Builder?
You can build your own custom layout of various types of post including Blog posts, Portfolio posts, FAQs, Events and WooCommerce Products. Then you can work in conjunction with other builders.
How to build your part of certain page with block builder?

Step 2. Click ‘Add New Post Type’ button on top of page.
Step 3. In New Porto Builder Modal, select Post Type in “Builder Type” field. And give your block’s name in “Builder Name” field.
Step 4. The next step is to build your part with Gutenberg.
